Chiara Ferragni's new collection

Bonjour fashion lovers,

Chiara Ferragni remains, more than a decade on, a name known worldwide. From 2009—when her digital journey began—to 2012, when The Blonde Salad became a global phenomenon, she helped transform the language of online fashion into a true case study. You cannot talk about fashion on the internet without acknowledging her pioneering role.

The collaboration with Rivoluzione Romantica—a capsule of T-shirts and sweatshirts themed around love that hurts, with a playful pop irony—signals a fresh attempt at repositioning. It reads as a desire to regain lightness and immediacy while also mending the relationship with a watchful, sometimes skeptical public.

Personally, I asked myself what I would have thought had I been by her side at such a delicate moment. I don’t speak as a consultant, nor as a schoolmarm—neither role is mine. I speak as an observer of fashion and its languages, as a fashion lover who has always intertwined curiosity with critical thinking.

Perhaps I would have found value in a clearer pause—a brief reset to redefine the brand’s values—and then a return with a more selective, deeper narrative. Perhaps I would have imagined collaborations that weave fashion with Italian craftsmanship rather than social-first irony. At the same time, I recognize that her enduring strength has been attunement to the present: speaking pop and internet fluently, often better than anyone else.

What I know is that Chiara Ferragni remains a singular case: beloved, criticized, and constantly observed. This new chapter will be worth following—not only to understand the trajectory of her brand, but also to see how the relationship among influencers, fashion, and the public continues to evolve.

As for me, I’m genuinely curious to see whether, in the coming months, this phase will help repair the brand and open a different horizon.

Always fashion, always black, always Paris,
Emanuela
