Michael Rider is the new Creative Director of Celine.

His appointment comes on the same day that Hedi Slimane steps down from the role.

The American designer (formerly Creative Director of Polo Ralph Lauren) returns to Celine, having previously worked alongside Phoebe Philo from 2008 to 2018.

Will this mark a return to the aesthetics of the old Celine that we loved so much?
