Stepping Into the World of Casadei

Imagine immersing yourself in the essence of an Italian brand with nearly 70 years of history—a house that has built its unstoppable success on the finest materials, unparalleled craftsmanship, and a perfect blend of heritage and innovation. That’s the magic of Casadei.

Arriving in Milan, I stayed right in the city center. The morning of the event, after a quick breakfast, dressed head-to-toe in my signature total black look, I hopped into a taxi. The air was crisp and refreshing as I made my way to Via Bigli, where I was welcomed into a stunning, elegant palace.

As I ascended to the first floor, I found myself stepping into a Casadei wonderland—mirrored walls reflecting the most exquisite boots, ballet flats wrapped in luxurious fur, all inviting me to touch and admire them. In the next room, models moved effortlessly in animal-print ankle boots—and I couldn’t help but think how perfectly they would complement my black ensemble.

Meet the Visionaries: Cesare & Arianna Casadei

Then, in the adjoining space, I saw them—the beating hearts of the brand: Cesare and Arianna Casadei. Cesare, the creative director, and Arianna, the general manager, stood surrounded by their stunning designs, welcoming guests with warmth and passion.

Listening to Cesare was mesmerizing. He shared the intricate craftsmanship behind a particular lace-detailed cuissardes boot, finished with the iconic Blade heel—a revolutionary creation that reshaped the footwear industry. He also unveiled Casadei’s latest handbag, featuring a hand-stitched knotted handle with adjustable ring hardware, allowing women to customize the strap length. (Let’s not forget—Casadei has embraced chains as a signature element since the ‘90s!)

Every piece was a work of art, and choosing a favorite was impossible. But then I thought—why choose? Why make such a sacrifice?
