Bonjour fashion lovers.
I'm finally here to express my absolute excitement about the Saint Laurent Spring/Summer 2025 show by Anthony Vaccarello. Every year, I'm ready to sing Vaccarello's praises, and every year, I think it can't possibly get better than the previous year or the previous show. But I'm consistently proven wrong.

Last night, we witnessed the return of those feminine beauty standards so dear to the master Yves Saint Laurent and that have made fashion history: femininity meeting masculinity in a mix of sensuality that's never vulgar.
Remember the model Vikebe in a Saint Laurent tuxedo photographed by Helmut Newton in 1975 on a gloomy street?

Well, that androgynous femininity has been revisited by Anthony Vaccarello in a modern, contemporary way: the blazer becomes oversized, worn with a tie, hair pulled back in a low chignon, glasses, heels, and layered with leather jackets, trench coats, or bombers. Volumes expand, without in the slightest diminishing the essence of Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello's femininity.

If you think it's a look only suitable for the office, you're sorely mistaken! The beauty of Vaccarello is his ability to break pre-established patterns while remaining within them.
In a quick video I recorded for my fashion community, I also talked about how it would be a perfect look for a first date: the surprise would be guaranteed.
And then, how can we forget Bella Hadid's return to the runway? Welcome back!
xoxo
