Bonjour fashion lovers.
The Christmas tree created by the Gucci fashion house in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele in Milan does not seem to find peace. After much controversy over its ugliness compared to the classic concept of Christmas (which the Swaroswki tree had never created in previous years), the tree was smeared with paint on December 29th by "Ultima generazione" environmental activists
Gucci will not remove the paint.
In a note, the Kering Group company, which "unequivocally" condemns the gesture, explains that it has "chosen not to intervene and use the incident as collective food for thought." "For years active in promoting constructive dialogue," the fashion house continues, "Gucci thus confirms its commitment to raising community awareness around these issues, while stressing that shared responsibility should never translate into violent or vandalistic acts.
An interesting and , if you will, smart choice: they don't spend money to remove the paint and let the topic go even more viral.
Good choice!
