Winter wedding: yes or no?

Who said that weddings are only for summer?

Recently years, more and more couples have decided to say 'yes' in winter, especially in December.

Accomplice to the Christmas atmosphere, often those who do not particularly like the heat opt for this period.

This is not my case, I love summer, but I have to tell you that as a wedding planner I have to admitthat fabulous arrangements can be made.

The important thing is always not to overdo it, but in my opinion this applies all year round.

Every year there is one dominant colour that prevails over the others in the wedding season but for winter weddings I believe that the dominant white combined with a secondary shade is the best.

To evoke snow, delicacy, through the use of white flowers (beautiful amaryllis flowers come to mind for example) combined with green branches with a touch of gold or silver.

If you are a red lover you can dare with this typical Christmas colour, but be careful with quantity, always aim for simplicity synonymous with elegance.

What about lighting?

Always make arrangements with the location by letting them tell you in advance what kind of lighting they will provide for the Christmas period and based on that your wedding planner will design with you.

And the wedding dress? Cold yes, cover up but not too much.

A cape or fur coat (strictly ecological for me), the important thing is to balance it with the dress and not put it in the background.

With Christmas just around the corner and wedding proposals on the way, I can't wait to come up with new customized projects.
