Last night, during the 69th David of Donatello Awards, Italian cinema stars shone brighter than ever.
Giorgio Armani dressed: Paola Cortellesi in a long-sleeved gown with sculpted shoulders (accessorized with Damiani jewelry)
Singer Malika Ayane (with Bulgari jewelry)
The always impeccable Elena Sofia Ricci and Claudia Gerini (time seems to have stood still for both of them, and I'm always mesmerized when I look at them). (Both's stylist: Valeria K Marchetti)
The unstoppable Valerio Mastandrea in a classic tuxedo.
But it wasn't just Giorgio Armani dressing our homegrown stars. Givenchy enveloped the stunning Kasia Smutniak, who I love with her short hair, in a long black gown. She completed the look with Jimmy Choo shoes and EÉRA jewelry (styled by Gloria Ripamonti)
Barbara Bobulova continued the black theme, opting for a Philosophy by Lorenzo Serafini midi dress and Roger Vivier shoes.
Micaela Ramazzotti also chose black in a Gucci gown (styled by Paola de Ceglie)
The divine Isabella Rossellini in a floral gown by Dolce & Gabbana.
Mahmood looked adorable in Prada (his mustache was a highlight)
Josh O'Connor in Loewe (styled by Harry Lambert)
our beloved and super cool Pier Francesco Favino in Zegna (styled by Nick Cerioni)
My fellow citizen Diodato, winner of a David di Donatello, sported a super charm Ami Paris look (a great choice by his stylist Carlotta Borgogna)
What can we say? We love Italian glam, and we love it a lot.
