Gucci Cruise 2025

Bonjour fashion lovers.

What did I like about the Gucci Cruise 2025 collection, presented in London? What didn't I like?

Well, I'll start by saying that I like Sabato de Sarno more and more. Maybe I see something of Pier Paolo Piccioli (his mentor for many years at Valentino) in him and his creativity, I don't know, but I can say for sure that I would wear his creations. But back to my initial fashion question: what did I like about the Gucci Cruise 2025 collection?

First and foremost, the suede jackets in pure 70s style, also in cape/cloak version (which remind me so much of my mother) worn with flowing shirt jeans or with mini shorts (if you're very young) and then my beloved bombers. Yes, that's right! I'm crazy about bombers and I'm about to buy one. I love that Sabato De Sarno uses them over pencil skirts (giving a cool touch to a classic and timeless piece) and over light and flowing evening dresses. I love it!

What don't I like about the Gucci Cruise 2025 collection? The round-toe ballet flats. I apologize to Sabato de Sarno, but I will never give up high heels, especially when I think of his fantastical wedge shoes from the Gucci fall/winter 2024 ready-to-wear collection. I would wear them anywhere and they remind me so much of the shoes I used to steal from my mother when I was a teenager with a longing to be an adult.

My fashion lovers, what more can I say? Gucci Cruise 2025 wins.

Ps: Oh, I almost forgot: I'll be writing about Gucci bags very soon, in another one of my cool articles.
