Bonjour fashion lovers.
Moschino has a new creative director, after David Renna who died suddenly on November 30, after just a few months in the role. His name is Adrian Appiolaza. But, can we know more? Yes!
Adrian Appiolaza is an Argentine fashion designer who was born in Buenos Aires in 1976. He began his career as a freelance designer, working for brands like Alexander McQueen and Miguel Adrover. In 2002, he won the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers, which allowed him to work as a junior designer at Chloé, under the direction of Phoebe Philo. He remained at Chloé until 2006, when he moved to Miu Miu, where he worked as a senior designer under the direction of Marc Jacobs.
In 2010, Appiolaza was appointed womenswear design director at Louis Vuitton, where he worked for four years. In 2014, he moved to Loewe, where he was womenswear design director for ten years. Under his direction, Loewe gained a reputation for its sophisticated and innovative fashion.
We will see Appiolaza's first collection for Moschino in February during Milan Fashion Week.
The premises are simply perfect, and we look forward to the opportunity to talk about his MOschino creations.
In the meantime: welcome and good work!!!!
